For Brad Pitt, getting red carpet ready involves more than just soap and water. In preparation for the Venice Film Festival - where he has been promoting his upcoming picture Burn After Reading - the star had not one, but two Decleor facials in a week, says one source.
“He has not been getting any sleep looking after the new babies” says the source “and he was very conscious of looking tired. He wanted to look his movie star best, especially knowing he’s be standing next to George Clooney the whole time”
Well it seemed to work!

After a less than rapturous response to her recent debut performance as a country singer, it seems Jessica Simpson needed a little boost - in the form of a makeover!
Jetting off after the concert to New York, where she was staying at the five star Ritz Carlton hotel, her first port of call was a visit to celebrity hair colorist Rita Hazan.
The singer emerged from the salon later with honey blond highlights. A spy says “She wants to be taken seriously as a country singer and thought a change in hair colour might help - it’s now richer and deeper and more sophisticated”
It’s probably going to take a lot more than a change of hair colour to win over the fans, Jess!

Madonna’s tour could be in crisis after angry crew members threatened to walk out and accused her of giving them the cheapest flights and accommodation while she gets the best that money can buy.
Staff ob the Sticky & Sweet tour were recently forced to fly on EasyJet to Nice for a show ans stay in a $75 dollar a night hotel, while Madonna flew via a private jet aeroplane and stayed in the $20,000 a night Chateau Saint Jeannet.
An insider said “Some of the staff feel like they are being treated like second class citizens, despite all their hard work”
Perhaps it’s time for a rethink, Madge?

Former Essex builder Paul Sculfor, 37, may have seemed the unlikeliest of choices, but the pair are closer than ever - though reports of a wedding soon are way off, according to friends.
One onlooker at the game last Tuesday said: “They were really affectionate and there was a lot of touching. Pauk kept making jokes and Cameron looked really happy” Earlier that day, the pair went shopping in the Big Apple hand in hand and they’ve only just returned from a break in the Maldives.

Last Monday was Guy Ritchie’s special night. It was the premiere of his new film RocknRolla in London’s Leicester Square and critics were hailing it as a retur to form. He desperately wanted Madonna by his side to dispel persistent rumors of a split. Sadly his wife let him down.
The 50 year oldturned up so late that Guy was reduced to standing at the edge of the red carpet looking at his watch. When asked where she was, he replied: “She told me she was half an hour away. She better had be, otherwise I’m going to be really embarrassed.”
Madonna did eventually turn up 30 minutes late, but her selfish attitude spoke volumes about their marriage. “She made him look like a complete fool” says one source. “She has no reason to be so late or not to travel with her husband; it must have been premeditated” They walked frostily doen the red carpet, with Guy trying his best to cuddle Madonna.

Agy in a wedding dress? How fab would that be! So far, however, the model and her boyfriend, The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond, have yet to confirm reports that he has proposed. The reason Agy is staying so quiet is out of respect for her ex-boyfriend, Josh Hubbard.
