Unlike her beloved dad, Brit’s mom Lynne is rocking her new found stability. As Britney Spears geared up to open the MTV Video Music Awards in LA last Sunday, she knew she would be scrutinised after her disastrous performance last year.
But it’s a miracle that, after months of hell, Britney, 26, was even in a position to appear at this year’s show. So who’s to thank for guiding her out of her dark, sometimes suicidal, struggle? “My father saved my life” Britney said of her dad last week “I probably wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him”
But just when the pop princess is getting back on track, mom Lynne Spears, who’s done little to support her struggling daughter, is releasing a tell all book.
